As the student lecture series went on, it was very evident that student teams who presented later in the term were learning a lot from the content, organization, and delivery style of earlier teams.

I reassured Teams 1 (Biodiversity Loss) and 2 (Rare Plant Conservation) that I was well aware of “order bias”, and understood that it is hard to be the first in a series where your performance is being judged.
