The authors compared 2 Eucalyptus species belonging to 2 subgenera, Symphyomyrtus and Eucalyptus, and found a stronger response to nitrogen in increased CO2 conditions. The authors concluded that plant evolutionary history and introduced species would shape the future of community productivity.
