Testing the World’s First Vertical Forest; Bostco Verticale

The Bosco Verticale project is pretty much a vertical forest.. The building will have more than 900 trees. The trees are planned to produce O2, reduce smog and along with those two, maintain temperatures and control noise.

“When developers in Italy wanted to do full-scale testing on how hundreds of trees on terraces of two residential towers in Milan would hold up in winds in excess of 100 miles per hour, they turned to FIU’s Wall of Wind.”
